When technology took over..

3 years post my last blog.. when I check my previous me, I just realize how time changes and how there is frekin change in our thought process..

We come across big challenges, new people, new goals, ups and downs and etc etc..
We realize, things did not actually turn up the way we planned but it turned out to be much better than what we actually want it to be...

IN this digital age, we have made ourselves so much restricted to our mac books, tablets, smart phones that we have literally forgotten the basics of being a human being... Lucky to have born in the late 80's wherein life was too much fun to play marbles, play cricket on the scorching sun not coming home, bringing parents out of the house to find us and get us home..

just give a thought, technology hasn't really made our life better, but it has worsen up like a sweet poison who is killing our emotions and making us lonely...

No one can stop invention, no one can stop the internet, etc etc...but its high time we realize that we need to balance ourselves with technology and the real world...
Its a big threat to the ones born in the late 2000's and the future generation who are unfortunate to have not realize the beautiful nature...

Give a thought, Enjoy the beautiful world..go to the beach, enjoy a smoke..play out in the sun...go crazy...go riding...

Let's show our gratitude towards the world by interacting through our physical presence...

All the best.... See you soon

Love and Regards./

The journey of Graduation completes!

Man Proposes, God Disposes...
It was the end of March, 2012...start of preparation of exam for the final semester of my Engineering, focused onto getting a First Class Grade, as I required to apply for further studies in US.
But, the plans disposed, as I lost my father on the 29th with a sudden massive heart attack.

Having survived only by my mother and sister...I had no choice but to fulfill his dream of me getting a B.E Degree and not forgetting the tremendous test, I was put to.

Won't like to mention about the terrible days I went through, but I can only say with his blessing, I achieved what he wanted. I cleared by final year and also 2 backlogs, thus conferred upon the B.E Degree on 18th July, 2012 with a First Class.

The hard times haven't started yet, hold on... Getting to know the results, the brains and heart had a tough time...from one side, there was a pain of loosing my father, from the other end it was the result of my efforts...but they were all useless.

Unlucky me, the happiness in the eyes of a father when his son achieves something remained absent...

Truly said my someone, God really disposes and it's a painful disposal. The dream of doing a Masters in Engineering still remains a dream...but there is hope..:-)

Thus, the Graduation ends but with a hollow ending, no joys, only cries..:)

Time for hunting a decent job...:-)

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in India

Mobile Number Portability allows the user to retain their old mobile number and can change the mobile service provider. This technology was suppose to be launch 2 years back, but it got delayed for various reasons accounting to Security and Political Issue. Also, 2G scandal hit the sector which led to the quitting of then Telecom Minister A.Raja.
Kapil Sibal is now appointed as the Telecom Minister, and has started working to get in new telecom policies leading to intense competition in telecom sector and thus benefitting the consumers.
Now, getting back to MNP,
this service will be launched PAN India in the last week of January, 2011. The conditions are you can port your landline number, and changing the operator is currently available inter circle. i.e Mumbai circle subscriber having a Vodafone mobile number can change only to a Mumbai Circle Idea number or any other operator.
The change can be from a CDMA technology to GSM and vice versa.

MNP is said to be a serious game changer, the top three telecom companies Airtel, Reliance and Vodafone are said to be worst effected, as it has the high end users as thier customer who could not change their number thus could not change operator, but after MNP they no more have to be hooked to them.

Various campaign has been started by the telecom companies like Idea which started 'Get Idea' campaign, also Vodafone started 'Everbody's Welcome' campaign.

Subsequently, the operators have launched their Toll Free numbers so that other service provider's subscribers can call them and register themselves to switch to the New operator.

Let's wait and watch, the major changes happening in telecom space.
